Greenport Resident Dies in Dirt Bike Collision

Jefferson Treadwell was riding his dirt bike westbound on a private road in East Marion. He collided with Terrence Lawrence who was riding eastbound. Southold police arrived and rushed both men to the hospital. Jefferson Treadwell age 23 was pronounced dead when he arrived due to injuries from the accident. Terrence Lawrence age 29 was transferred to another hospital for treatment.
