It’s just a terrible, cowardly act to leave an accident you caused,” commented personal injury lawyer Neal Goldstein. “It’s important for witnesses and anyone with information to notify police. If you don’t want to give your name, you can also call crime stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS-all calls to this line remain anonymous.”
These calls can make a difference. “We recently settled a hit and run case where a witness was able to give a description of the car and a license plate number. Every tip can help find these cowards so it’s crucial to call if you think you have any useful information,” said Goldstein.
