New York Senator Looks to Make 'Wrong Way Driving' a Felony

Charles Fushillo, a New York Senator from Long Island is now looking to make 'wrong-way driving' into a felony. Fushillo's bill recently went before state law makers. He is now pleading legislators to pass his bill.

Only several days ago, a 'wrong-way driving' incident took the life of a man from New Jersey after a woman drunkingly drove on the wrong side of the I-95.

In the past several years, there have been about 20 'wrong-way driving' accidents in Long Island.

Currently, 'wrong way driving' is labeled as a misdemeanor in New York.
