Long Island Man With Infant Passenger Charged With DWI

On August 4th, a man from Greenlawn, Long Island, was charged with DWI. To make matters worse, the man also had an infant child in the car with him while he was driving. The man was on Jericho Turnpike, when he was pulled over by police for his tinted windows. The Suffolk County police then discovered that the man had been driving while under the influence. Criminal charges against the man include DWI and endangering the welfare of a child. The man's girlfriend, who was also the mother of the infant child, was also charged with endangering the child, as reports say that she knew the man had been driving drunk. Since the incident, the child has been put under the care of his grandparents.
