Construction Worker at Barclays Center Crushed to Death

Feb. 25--A 52-year old construction worker helping to construct a green roof on the Barclays Center died yesterday when he was crushed to death by steal beams that toppled onto him, according to police. Peter Zepf was pronounced dead at the scene.

"We are all devastated by what happened. All of us at Greenland Forest City Ratner Partners and Barclays Center extend our heartfelt condolences to the worker's family and friends," the company said in a statement.
