Car Strikes Pedestrians on Hempstead Turnpike

On July 10th, two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Hempstead Turnpike. The incident occured around 11:30 PM, as the 84-year old driver of the vehicle crashed her car into the two men, each in their 20's. Both men were taken to the hospital and treated for severe injuries. The woman's car has been impounded and inspected. Thus far, there haven't been any criminal charges against the driver.
