Car Accident on Northern State Parkway Takes Two Lives

On July 31st, a man was driving west on the Northern State Parkway when he lost control of his vehicle. After losing control, the car was redirected towards an adjacent patch of woods. Soon after, the vehicle collided with a tree. The man's father, wife, and young child were also passengers in the car. Unfortunately, the father and wife were each pronounced dead at North Shore Hospital. The driver and the child survived and they were both treated for severe injuries. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation is looking into the matter.
