Bay Shore Man Killed in Car Crash

A forty six year old man from Bay Shore is killed in North Lindenhurst. Witnesses told Suffolk County Police that a Nissan Maxima went out of control on the east bound side of Sunrise Highway. It then struck two poles near the intersection of 44th Street. The car flipped over and finally came to a stop in a nearby parking lot. Driver, who was identified as Eric Shaw, was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and investigation. Police are asking for help with this investigation.
