Q: I was injured in  a car accident and the other driver was drunk. What are my rights?

A: When you are injured in a car accident and the other driver was drunk there are several things you need to understand. Clearly the other driver has to be negligent. Another words if the accident was your fault you dont get money because the other driver was drunk. Additionaly, if the other driver became intoxicated at a bar, nightclub, restaurant or somebody's home there maybe additional liability from that individual or party. Also keep in mind that a civil lawyer can only claim money damages from any lawsuit. We can't take away anybody's license or put anybody in jail. Sometimes these cases can be trick so make sure that the lawyer that you have is exprienced with these type  of cases.
