I was injured at Yankee Stadium. Can I sue?

A: The simple answer to this question is, "maybe." Some injuries sustained at ballparks aren't compensable. For example, if you get hit by a ball from a batter, you can't recover money from injuries. The same would apply in the case of a flying bat. This is because the law presumes that you know the risks associated with the activity that you're going to watch--in this case, a baseball game. However, if the injury comes from something other then a risk associated with the game, such as, an injury that comes from tripping and falling or from a seat breaking, then in these cases, such injuries may be recoverable.
