How long will it take to get compensation for my case?

A: It is always best to assume that your case will not settle early and will have to take its full course through the courthouse before any resolution. Depending on the type of case, its complexity and the county in which the case is heard it can take anywhere from 2 to 4 years before a trial is set. Of course, many cases settle and some early in the claim state but don't count on it.
