Long Island Construction Worker Recovers Huge Settlement

Our client was a construction worker in his thirties when he fell from an open stairway that was being built for an estate on the North Shore of Long Island. The client was on the second floor when he accidentally fell through an opening where there should have been a secured barrier or railing to prevent falls. The owner of the home astonishingly did not have insurance. The general contractor did not have insurance. The client's employer did not have insurance. The court granted summary judgement on behalf of the plaintiff.The client was paralyzed from below his waist.
