A hit and run truck driver in Bethpage struck two bicyclists on Wednesday morning, killing one and leaving the second in serious condition. According to police, 32-year-old Stephen Marano and another man were bicycling southbound on Hicksville Road when a white box truck struck them and fled the scene at 6:05 a.m. Both men were taken to an area hospital where Marano was pronounced dead a little over an hour later.
